Case Study - 2019 Mazda CX-9 using Rubber Block Booster Series
Size B+ buffers and Rubber Block Booster Series RB2-15-125 are used on the front and rear coil springs. After the buffers and boosters were installed, ground Lifting Height : 1.1”.
Since the front of the coil spring gap is 1.6” so we can use the 1.5” side of the block. 12.5” side of the RB2-15-125 block will be used on the rear coil spring for the 1.3” gap.
Note: It is the best to install Rubber Block on or bellow the opening of the buffer (CSB or CSBPro series) to strengthen the support. In this case, Front block was installed in between the buffer opening and the rear block was installed into the coil spring below the opening.
Note: Please do not put the block right under or above the buffer. This will cause the coils slip outside the buffer grooves and cause damage on the buffers.
