You are going to feel the car a little softer, more stable when turning, I installed it in the front part of the car! I'm going to put some in the back
Ok so tried to upload some pictures but apparently my system doesn't jive with this one. Anyway, the side to side rocking is what I bought these items to prevent, and they do. If you have driven a Motorhome with leaf springs, not sure about those diesel pushers with air suspension, when you go out of a driveway like a filling station or some such and need to make a turn onto the street, they tend to roll to one side or the other, so to prevent that I purchased Sumo Springs for the front and these Rubbershox for the rear. Now these Rubbershox are rated at 4500Lbs suspension at 50% compression. The Sumo Springs aren't quite up to that task for the rear. That gives me 9000 lbs of extra suspension on my 22500 lb motorhome. Stopped the side to side sway, these along with the TracBar that I installed takes the white knuckle driving to almost pleasant. These install in place of the Jounce Bumpers that are already installed on your motorhome, pickup truck what have you. In my case, I removed the studs in the Rubbershox, went to my local Ace Hardware and purchased two class 8 bolts that would fit along with lock washers which made it quite easy to install, your situation may vary.
I have just completed the installation of these bump stops taking the place of the original bump stops that did not provide the ride support that I wanted from the rear of my RV coach. After test driving, I have achieved a smoother, more stable ride in the rear of my 2021 Class A Gas RV, and I have greatly reduced the side to side rocking on uneven roads.I had to use two metric M10-1.5 x 30mm Flat Head Socket Cap Bolts in order to mount the bump stop to the factory upper brackets. This is a follow up review after 2 months of using these 7 inch RubberShox Bump Stops. The ride from the rear axle is still greatly improved after replacing the OEM bump stops. These two bump stops work very well in tandem with two other rubber springs that I installed at the same time.
We put these on a Winnebago Travato (Ram Promaster 2500) to help reduce sag when fully loaded. It reduced the sag by 1 3/4 inches. The product was very easy to install, all you had to do was screw them on. We put over 4k miles on them and they appear to be holding up well. I am only giving four stars though. The screw set comes with multiple lengths of threaded fasteners . The length we needed on one of the fasteners would not fit in their bump stop. As we started checking out the fasteners we found lots of variations in width and pitch. Luckily one of the longer ones threaded nicely and we were able to cut it and clean the threads. It then when right on. The company probably needs to tighten up on its tolerances. The minus one star is for the cursing I was forced to do in fixing that one fastener. All in all it appears to be a good product.
I wasnt expecting the pieces to come separately and require being glued together. After gluing and keeping the shocks clamped together they still have began to separate. The design is great and effective but the fact that you have to glue them together makes me nervous about trusting them under use. Rubbershox should consider a different design of building the sections or a made to order design
